About

Find the beat, then trust it

I'm a metal drummer and songwriter based in Portland, Oregon. I've been behind a drum kit since I was nine, and today I record and release original music as XexeX Records.

Years of listening for the rhythm beneath the noise, the pulse that holds a song together when everything else is falling apart, eventually found their way onto the page. That became Rhythm of the Awakened Siren, my debut novel, and the series that grew from it.

When I'm not writing or playing, I'm usually building something: coloring books, videos, or apps like LyricNook. My books are published by XexeX Creations.
